St. George’s School (1) vs Edge School (8) U15 Prep
After Friday’s loss to Delta Hockey Academy, Edge School looked to Saturday morning’s clash with St. George’s School as the opportunity to bounceback from the loss that snapped their five-game winning streak. Edge School’s star, Brody Antignani, only registered one assist in the game, marking just the second time this season he failed to get two or more points in a game. Edge School and St. George’s School traded powerplay goals in the first period, but from there, Antignani took over. A pair of goals from Antignani opened up a 3-1 lead early in the second period and he wouldn’t be done from there. He and Edge School intensely worked to build on the lead from there, and Antignani would pop up with four more points, finishing the game with three goals and three assists to help Edge School to the 8-1 win.

OHAE outshot STAR 68-12 in the hockey game, ending the game with 16 goals, with Micah Montgomery’s (3G, 2A) hat trick leading the way. CIH Academy (2) vs Ulysse Academie (3/OT) East U18 Prep
Ulysse Academie lost their opening game to Stanstead College, but since then, they’ve been unplayable. CIH Academy won all four of their previous games as well, and at two different points, they’d broken a tie to take the lead over Ulysse Academie. Every time they went down, though, Ulysse fought back, quickly tying the game. Specifically, the second time CIH had taken a lead, Ulysse had tied things up within 30 seconds, sending the game into the third period deadlocked. An evenly-fought twenty minutes yielded nothing, but come overtime, Ulysse broke through. Eliott Guevin grabbed the puck in the neutral zone and skated north to generate a two-on-one opportunity. Guevin held, shot, and scored to give Ulysse the victory in the extra frame.

Multi-point performances from Carter Jarvis (2G, 1A), Mark Ma (3A), Kyan Vansandt (1G, 1A), and Mason Bryska (1G, 1A) led the way for SAHA, and while OHA pushed back late in the third, they couldn’t get any closer than the final score of 6-4.
